Well a lot has happened since my last post and not much of it knitting related.
The first thing that happened was....

Yes, we found out I was pregnant and that I was due at the end of May. This came as a total surprise as per our plan we were supposed to be pregnant 6-9 months later, but you know how plans go.
Since I have taken so long to post I can tell you that yes we did want to know what we are having and ...

I was sooo excited, I wanted a healthy baby first and foremost but I must admit I wanted a little. So right now I have finished a pair of booties, started a chunky blanket and a papoose from the book knitting for two. Nothing is in pink yet, I started or picked out the yarn before I knew the sex. However, since then I have picked up plenty of pink yarn.
Now the next piece of news, we got final approval for our building permit at the end of September. We began construction on our new house in October. That is why we weren't planning on being pregnant for another 6-9 months.
Here is the progress on the house...

The picture is a panorama view, so ignore the piece of the roofline on the right-hand that looks like there are 2 roofs coming together. You can see the progress to date and me in the foreground with one of my horses. It is supposed to be completed by March or at least that was the target, I am due on May 29th so I am hoping that it is.. However, they haven't even started on the interior yet. It's going to be a race, I just hope the house is delivered first.
