Still working on Audrey, I survived both the decreases and the increases. However, I needed some mindless tv knitting so I also started a poncho that is knit in the round and it should fly by. It is actually pretty cute but it's mohair so I think it will be a winter poncho because I don't like mohair next to my skin. Its way too itchy.

On to sad news. I have a 15 year old cat who I took to the vet this week. The vet did blood work and an urinanalysis. Unfortunately, the findings weren't great, she is showing a loss in kidney function. I guess this is a common problem for senior kittys. So she is being pampered to death.
Well I learned a HUGE lesson UPS is better than Fed-Ex. I had my iPod (which of course I am dieing to get my hands on) shipped Fed-Ex ground.. actually I just chose ground not the carrier. So the post it was left on our gate stating that they would attempt a delivery tomorrow, but during the hours of 8am to 5pm we are working. So I call thinking well with UPS you can have it held at the center and pickup during working hours..... NOT! If you ship Fed-Ex GROUND, they do not have a pick up location. So I have to re-arrange my meetings and get the time to work from home, which isn't as easy as it sounds...
Oh and by the way ... I have procrastinated on my race training too. I have the Wharf-to-Wharf this weekend but my training schedule has been close to zip. So we will see how far I get! As long as I am still standing at the end, we are all good!
Ok now on to the knittiing. Smooch fits great but no pics so far. Audrey is coming along wonderfully after the 3rd time I ripped out the decreases ;)
Well I did and I wore it to my inlaws! I know, I know where are the pictures. I promise to post those soon. I am very happpy with the way it turned out. I used the suggestions from Alison at the Blue Blog and it turned out great.
I have been neglecting my blog so long that I forgot to mention that not only have I swatched Audrey but I am up to the decreases. Those decreases are something else. I have been procrastinating dealing with them. Do I knit them per the pattern or do I use Tiffany's hint over at the knitalong? Hrmm I think I am going to use Tiffany's hint.
