Ramblings of a Sick Mind

Ha got you ;) It's not about that kind of sick.. As if Mondays were great anyway, I had to go and get sick. My eyes are running, my nose is running and I am sneezing all over the place. I bet you are glad you can't see it in person. I blame it all on work. I have been back at work for a week and a half. So based on the fact I got a cold so quickly after returning, work is not a very healthy atmosphere. Therefore, I should quit work :) That seems logical to me.. Too bad my husband won't buy it.

I haven't been knitting too much lately, but I have been laughingsite. It really makes me It really is about quality and not just because you can.

Onto my web report the following sites have great reviews of stuff for new moms or soon too be new moms and dads too. Yeah a lotta of surfin goin on at work.. soon to be stopped.

I really must be sick, I am contemplating making socks for my DH. Now why would I do that when I like bigger projects that are seen. Not little projects hidden on feet, although technically I guess socks aren't little when you count the fact that you are using teeny tiny needles. The reason I am doing this is because my husband thinks he is a better knitter. YES you heard that right he thinks HE is a better knitter. It all stems from the period he was laid off and I taught him how to knit. He completed a scarf and then I decided to get him going on something that would occupy him. So we bought sock yarn and the book Socks Soar on Circular needles. I walked him through the completion of 1 perfect sock (ripping out the mistakes and translating the patterns) and too this day it is something he considers a masterpiece. It was great to see him concentrating on his knitting. But he never completed the other sock because he got a new job. Too this day he taunts me with "Well you have never knit a sock", whenever I ask if he is going to complete the other sock.

That must have been the plan.. one perfect sock puppet for our daughter. So I am going to give him 2 socks for Christmas and frame the one perfect sock puppet .
