Sleep Deprived

I can't complain.. Saturday was hectic, but in a good way. First, was the haircut I am not a very girly girl but I have to have my haircuts on schedule or forget it. Then I visited one of my favorite shops, knitting shop that is. I was looking for the new Vintage Knits from Rowan, and I was kind of disappointed. They had all of the new books except for that one. So I managed to walk out of the store without purchasing a thing. That was amazing..... just ask my friends.

Now the really fun part of the day began, I headed over to Menlo Park to a friends house and we stopped for lunch and hopped on Caltrain and headed into SF for the Curiousa festival. If you live in the bay area and use Caltrain or think about using Caltrain... always by your ticket BEFORE you board the train. By sheer luck we followed this rule. The conductor chewed some people out and handed them a citation, so the 4 dollar ride turned into a 50 dollar ride.

Once we got to SBC park, we had to find our seats.. That was pretty funny no one knew where the Field Club was. We ended up on the 3rd level then back down to the 2nd level before we found the magic door. I was hoping we weren't going to be the oldest people at the concert and we weren't by a long shot!!! I did not realize what an age group they span. We were seated by a 3 year old and across from a 60 year old. The 3 year old was adorable and yes she was wearing massive earplugs. It was a great time, even if I didn't know 1/2 the bands in the festival.

Needless to say I did not get home till 2am and Sunday was busy with chores and birthday preparation. My moms birthday was this week and my brother came down. The luck guy lives across the street from Imagiknit, of course he doesn't appreciate the proximity of one of my favorite knitting stores. However, my mom appreciated it when she opened her present.
